Prior to founding NIRRIS in 2005, Radek worked for six years at a leading German law firm, where he managed a team of corporate, M&A, and finance lawyers. After completing his studies in London, Radek also worked as a legal assistant at Herbert Smith, a leading UK law firm.
Since 2010, Radek has also worked as an insolvency administrator. To date, he has reviewed creditor claims totaling over CZK 3.5 billion.
Radek has advised many clients on the construction and financing of private and public projects such as retail and wholesale shopping centers, photovoltaic power plants, hospitals, logistics centers, hotels, airports, and golf courses.
Radek is a recognized expert in the field of leasing. He and his team have prepared a large number of documents in this area for a variety of leasing products, including IT services. His clients include major leasing companies such as Mercedes Benz Financial Services, Raiffeisen Impuls Leasing, BAWAG Leasing & Fleet, and SG Equipment Finance Czech Republic.
Radek has advised international banks in a number of areas of banking law, including advising on bank mergers. Radek has also drafted the documentation on a bond issue for an international bank.
Among other things, Radek advised Signa, a German real estate fund, on the acquisition of the office complex named “The Park” in Prague’s Chodov district and the listing of this office complex in a closed real estate fund in Germany. He then advised on its subsequent sale. The total value of this transaction exceeded €235 million.
In 2019 Radek co-founded ZDR Investments www.zdrinvestments.cz, where he now capitalizes on his years of experience in real estate. The ZDR Investments investment funds are among the most successful and stable real estate funds on the Czech market today.
